While many watch brands are gearing up for next week’s SIHH in Geneva, others are looking ahead to the even larger Baselworld show in March. Among the latter group is Omega Replica, which this week offered a sneak preview of two of the new models it will launch at Baselworld 2017: the Omega Speedmaster 38 mm “Cappuccino” and Speedmaster Moonwatch Automatic.
This reference of the Omega Speedmaster Replica Watches 38mm — nicknamed “Cappuccino” for its taupe-brown subdials, tachymeter ring and leather strap — is one of a new collection that, Omega says, encompasses models intended for both men and ladies.Its 38-mm-diameter case combines stainless steel with Omega’s proprietary Sedna gold (an alloy of gold, copper, and palladium, used in several Omega watches, most recently in the the Planet Ocean Deep Black collection) and uses a brown aluminum ring for the tachymeter bezel, a hallmark of all Speedmaster watches.The bi-color dial is notable for its three oval-shaped subdials, which are reminiscent somewhat of the brand’s logo, a stylized version of the Greek letter Omega Replica Watches. The date window at 6 o’clock is also oval-shaped. The baton hands and indices are also crafted from Sedna gold. A relief seahorse medallion, a fixture on historical Speedmaster watches, has been stamped on the caseback. The movement is Omega’s co-axial Caliber 3300, equipped with a silicon balance spring. Like most modern Cheap Omega Replica timepieces, this one comes with a four-year warranty.
The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Automatic is the latest Speedmaster to meet the criteria of Omega’s demanding Master Chronometer certification, subjected to a battery of precision, performance, and magnetic resistance tests first applied to the Globemaster model introduced in 2015. It also resurrects on its dial a vintage-look, motorsports-inspired minute track that first appeared on a 1968 Speedmaster.The Replica Watches has a matte black dial and a 44.25-mm stainless steel case that is slightly thinner than those of previous models because of a newly retooled sapphire crystal.
Among the dial’s other notable features are its orange highlights; 18k white-gold beveled arrowhead hour indices, filled with white Super-LumiNova; and slightly expanded subdials for increased legibility. The polished ceramic bezel uses another proprietary material, Liquidmetal, for its tachymeter scale and also features orange text that matches the color of the varnished hour and minute hands and tip of the central seconds hand. The black leather strap continues the color scheme, with an orange rubber inner layer that can be glimpsed through the micro-perforations, achieved with a milling tool, in the exterior surface. The perforated look is another stylistic nod to the Omega Replica Watches auto-racing roots and also serves the utilitarian purpose of aerating the wearer’s skin. The movement is Omega’s Co-Axial Master self-winding Chronometer Caliber 9900.
